Natascha Tahabsem is an independent photojournalist based in Washington, D.C. She covers politics, conflict, and social movements, with a focus on the human body and its relationship to power. Her work has been published in TIME, The Economist, Forbes, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, and The Guardian, among other outlets. Natascha holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Georgetown University and a master’s in journalism from Boston University.
