Hi! I’m Natascha Tahabsem, an independent photojournalist based in Washington, D.C. My work focuses on documentary and human-interest stories that examine migration, politics, social movements and identity. I’m interested in how global forces shape personal lives and how individual stories reveal something larger about who we are. My photographs have appeared in TIME, The Economist, Forbes, CNN, The Wall Street Journal and The Guardian, among others.
I hold a bachelor’s in international relations from Georgetown University and a master’s in journalism from Boston University.
